First off, a massive thank you to everyone who’s asked about gigs. If you’ve been wondering why there isn’t a proper tour section here yet, you’re not alone. Especially after my announcement on Christmas Day. Hard to believe that’s already six months ago.
So here’s the deal:
Back on Christmas Day 2024, I shared a video with fans saying that I was putting together a live band and planning a small UK tour for autumn 2025. That’s still 100% the plan—but as things stand, it’s going to take a bit longer.
You can watch the original video here:
Dates Postponed to 2026
I’m now aiming for 2026 for the first shows. I’d like to say spring, but it really depends on the availability of musicians and venue bookings. Tricky stuff, let me tell you! But I am figuring it out.
Once the band is locked in and the venues are confirmed, all the dates will be announced right here.
Why the delay?
To do it right—not just get on stage, but actually get the sound right and make sure it’s as good as it needs to be—I need:
A tight band of pro-level players
Several weeks of rehearsals
A good sense that we can sell around 250 tickets in 8–10 cities
The right venues available in the right cities, in a sensible run
Everyone needs to be paid, and there’s no label footing the bill. So I need to be confident it’s financially doable before we hit “go.”
And at the risk of repeating myself, the logistics of routing a tour and booking it myself, with the musical side still up in the air, are... a bit complicated.
I’ve had conversations with some brilliant musicians who are exactly what I’m looking for—but getting them all available for rehearsals and gigs means juggling multiple diaries. So I’m still exploring other options too.
This isn’t a moan. It’s just the reality of trying to build something great as an independent artist.
Want to be the first to know?
If you want early access to tickets and tour news, join the mailing list. Or make sure you stay on it. You’ll hear it there first.
And if you’re a musician—drums, bass, keys, guitar (especially with backing vocals)—or know someone who is, I’m still reviewing submissions. The video above explains what I’m looking for.
Thanks again for your patience and support. I can’t wait to bring this music to a real stage.
When it happens, it’s going to be something special.
